RUSTOFF 236 contains preferential wetting agents and corrosion inhibitors dissolved in volatile solvents. It helps remove aqueous contaminants from wet metal surfaces and provides temporary corrosion protection through a thin, adherent, transparent, oily and self-healing film.
The product is suitable for wet components after processes such as autoblock, goldening, alkaline barreling, machining with aqueous cutting oils, grinding and shot blasting, as well as for inter-process storage.
